                               RESOLUTION NO. 21241
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE BY
                   THE CITY OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES FROM STEIN
                   CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR THE TENNESSEE
                   RIVERWALK PROJECT.

       	    	 WHEREAS, the City of Chattanooga is planning the
       extension of the Tennessee RiverWalk across properties owned by
       Stein Construction Company; and
       	    	 WHEREAS, Stein Construction Company has offered to
       donate the needed property to the City of Chattanooga,
       	    	 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
       THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the offer of Stein
       Construction Company to transfer certain properties to the City 
be
       and the same is hereby accepted with gratitude, subject to an
       environmental assessment.
